On April 24, 2009, CTPA celebrated Arbor Day along with the 2009 winners of the CTPA Arbor Day Essay Contest, their families and the City of Hartford.  At this ceremony, the celebrants planted a seven-son tree in Bushnell Park adjacent to the State Capitol.
